The scope of work for this project includes the construction of a 30,000 square-foot sub-residency maintenance building and an 8,200 square-foot salt barn. The maintenance building has vehicle storage for 10 trucks, a loader and tow plow, with one additional double depth mechanical bay and single depth, drive-thru truck washing bay. It also includes an office area, lunch/break room, toilet/shower/locker rooms, storage rooms and mechanical/electrical rooms. The site will also contain stockpile areas for pipe, stone and millings, and ancillary site features include parking for 40 vehicles, and stormwater management facilities. The project was constructed in an accelerated matter and NYSDOT moved into the facilities only 10 months after Contract Award.
On Point was part of the Contractor’s pre-bid team and developed the project schedule that was included in the technical best value proposal. Following successful project award, On Point provided scheduling services throughout the project.
