Project Description:
This catenary replacement project focuses on two sections of Metro North Railroad’s New Haven Line, and includes work in the Bridgeport Yard. This replacement work includes the installation of new catenary structures, along with the replacement of all existing catenary assemblies and wire.
Since these sections of the New Haven Line see over 130 trains per day, the scheduling and coordination of this catenary replacement work requires significant coordination with Metro North Railroad to guaranty train operations are not affected.
